“Friendly, knowledgeable and personalised service.” We went to Cape Cod as part of our honeymoon in the USA. This tour was the best way to get to see most of Cape Cod, especially the less tourist-inhabited parts. Des and Terry have a vast wealth of knowledge and are always interested in sharing what they know with you. They are not stuck to an agenda or promoting any vested interests, and they genuinely want you to enjoy Cape Cod as much as they do. Our tour was really impressive because not only did we get to see some seals (although lower in numbers perhaps due to the great white sharks being in the area), we also got to see whales off the coast of Cape Cod. You could visibly see with your own eyes the whales' blowholes and one of them with its whole body jumping out of the sea and diving back down again. It was amazing! Seal, seashore, lighthouse tour a winner! I had a fantastic day with Dez and Terry. They were so kind, funny, lively, and knowledgeable. The bus is very comfortable, they know it all, and really care about your experience on the tour. We spent the whole day learning about the Cape from the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory to old Yarmouth to the Cape Cod National Seashore to the Chatham Pier. The bonus was seeing whales breach in the distance from shore by the Chatham Lighthouse. A yummy lunch is included, with your choice of sandwich, chips, and a tasty cookie. It was not an average sandwich either. Along the way they recommend great hotels/B&B's, and restaurants. Now i know where to come back and spend time, the next time I come to the Cape. Overall thumbs up, highly recommend, LOVED it! Aurora,Colorado.August 2011
“Seascape tour” Des and Terry were wonderful! we had a great time! They were very funny and gave so much information about the sites we saw. I had a 10 yr old and a 17yr old with me who had a blast!! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel which was a nice thing. The tour covered alot of the Cape from shore to shore. We stopped alot for photos and to see things closer. Can't wait to go back next summer for the Provicetown/Dunes tour!.Westchester, New YorkAugust 2011
“This Tour was the highlight of our trip” The Cape Cod Scenic Tour was just that and much more. It truly was the highlight of our trip. We saw so much of the cape and had a lot of fun along the way. We experienced the best day with Terry and Des, far more than we expected because of their special touch. But as we found out, this isn't just any tour, they are the Best. We can't say enough about how special their tour really is and the memories of our day will stay with us forever.Markham, CanadaAugust 2011
Even better than promised! Let me start by saying I booked this tour based on the amazing reviews on TripAdvisor, and it was even better than we thought it would be. The bus was great, the sites were stunning and our guides were amazing. I was worried when I saw that we were the only family with a child on the tour. However, our child soon perked up when they put her in charge of snacks. She is nine and a very "tough customer" but she asked if we can go back to see Terry and Des for the new Cranberry tour (we did the seal, seashore and lighthouse tour-- fun and informative). My husband isn't much of a fan of organized tours, but he loved it too. We all agreed that it was our favorite day on the Cape. Baltimore, MDAugust 2011
The scenery and hospitality made this the perfect start to our Cape Cod trip. The tour was a great combination of interesting historical and local information and fantastic sights. As first timers to the Cape this was a relaxing way to get a better sense of the Cape and to get a better sense of some of the places we wanted to see the rest of the week. What truly makes this tour special however is the warmth and thoughtfulness of the guides, Dez and Terry. They adjust their tour to meet the interests of their guests, and they provided many small details such as snacks and cold water which kept even our 2 young children happy on an 8 hour tour. It is clear they love the Cape and will do everything they can to give their guests a good day. By the end of the day, it felt like being with friends. Madison, Wisconsin.August 2011
“The BEST tour on the Cape!” I booked this tour after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and was definitely not disappointed. Before booking the tour, I had a few questions and Terry kindly answered my many emails promptly, which gave me a good feel for the tour. Des and Terry collected us at our hotel and as soon as we stepped on to their roomy, comfortable bus, I knew we were in for a treat! They were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable! They even took us on a detour to the Kennedy compound after we mentioned wanting to see it. They took us to parts of the Cape we would definitely not have seen without them and were more than happy to take photos, stop for toilet breaks and tell us about life on the Cape. The lunch was delicious and they chose a perfect location for it, a quiet beach with beautiful views. What more can I say? Basically, they were such wonderful guides that you forget you are on a tour and feel like you are on a day out with friends. This was my favourite day on the Cape and you will not regret booking it! Well worth the money! London,United Kingdom.July2011
Excellent! Well worth the time and money” The company is owned and operated by a couple. We had the three of us, another family of three, and a couple along on the tour. The bus was comfortable. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and genial. The tour gave lots of history and information about the Cape. The tour lasted about 6-7 hours, and included a catered picnic lunch (which was delicious) that we ate at picnic tables on the shore.Michigan.July 2011
Great way to see the Cape. What can I say that hasn't been said before? Des and Terry know everything about places on Cape that chances are you would overlook. I came on their bus wondering how this was going to turn out but by the end it was the best experience to wrap up a vacation with. New JerseyJuly 2011
Wonderful day on the coast My husband and I took the tour with Des and Terry and what a great day we had with them. They even waited for us because our bus came in a little later than the tour was supposed to start. They were so nice and knew so much about the area. They had a great homemade lunch and we got to sit at the beach and enjoy it with them and the others on the trip. This is not a tour that you will want to miss. They have the knowledge and will give you a great tour and history of the Cape Cod area. We enjoyed the lighthouses and the jail that they showed us We were also able to get some great pictures. They didn't rush us and were always wanting to make us comfortable. We mentioned that we had not had very good clam chowder the night before in Boston so they took us to a resturant on the way back to the bus stop to buy some cups of chowder to enjoy. It was great clam chowder and we really enjoyed it as we waited for the bus back to Boston. It was so much better than what we had had the night before, for sure! Thank you Des and Terry for a great memory! Diane and MikeJuly2011
BEST DAY ON OUR VACATION We highly recommend this tour of Cape Cod. Des and Terry are like family after about 5 minutes. They did not rush anyone during the whole tour, and we spent about 8 hours traveling and stopping at various points. The lunch that is included is very good with many choices. The bus was comfortable, clean and easy to use. We saw sea captains' homes, a lighthouse, a windmill, Provincetown, oyster fishing, scenic views, and more. It was a wonderful day. wow--what a way to see the cape--this absolutely deserves to be #1! on our just completed vacation to cape cod we took the 'provincetown and dunes' tour with terry and des (Cape Cod Scenic Tours in Hyannis) on july 6. it was certainly one of the highlights of our vacation. what a way to see and experience the cape with very friendly and extremely knowledgeable guides. but any attraction is only as good as its people, and in this case terry & des were incredible! even though they have probably given this all-day (in our case 9+ hours) tour hundreds of times, they made it feel as if this was their first and most important! it was in an air-conditioned very comfortable 14 person van (we actually had 11 on our tour). they picked us up at our motel door and delivered us back there at the end of the day. terry and des were genuinely excited about the tour and of the many places they took us to. we had plenty of time to get out and look around, ask questions, etc. this was NOT a stay-in-the-van-look-out-the-windows-thing at all--and that was really great! i don't have the space here to describe all the places we saw and stopped at. we went all the way to provincetown where we spent about 1.5 hrs on our own doing what we wanted to do. there was a great box lunch included that we ate at the very picturesque 'marconi station' on the sand dunes on the atlantic side of the cape. we never rushed, and if someone wanted to stay longer at a stop or even see something that was not 'scheduled' terry and des were very happy to accommodate. because they were so very familiar with the cape and the many places to go, we didn't just go to the usual 'tourist traps', but instead ventured a bit ‘off the beaten path’ as well and saw a great deal more of historic cape cod in the process. we could not have imagined a better outing. i think our tour was a bit longer tour than usual, but terry and des took their time and perhaps stopped at a few more spots than normal--or took a little longer at some. we felt as if they were family, not just tour providers. and they treated us like family as well. when we go back to cape cod next we will be sure to take another of their tours to other points of interest and we'll feel like we're coming back to see old friends. don't miss this attraction. it has to be by far the best way to spend a day on cape cod!! and don't hesitate to contact us directly via trip advisor if you have any specific questions or concerns that you'd like to ask us about. Wonderful way to see the Cape! Tour lasted 9:30 until about 6:30 PM. We made many stops along the Northern side of the Cape all the way to Provincetown. Clean and comfortable bus. Lunch was delicious. Get the turkey cranberry sandwich! Des and Terry do a superb job.July 2011
“Do not hesitate- Take the tour!!” Des and Terry are wonderful, wonderful people. It's so refreshing to see their passion for the cape. My family and I were impressed with the tour. They were very accommodating, as we traveled with a young child and an infant. They were not in a hurry to end the tour and they really went out of their way to ensure the tour was memorable. Des & Terry- Thank you soo much for a wonderful day!!!!! Visited June 2011July 2011
Wonderful Trip - Des and Terri are the best. This was one of our best Cape Cod tours. Everything was very well arranged by Des and Terri (pick-up, snacks, water and lunch). The route and sight seeing were well picked and explained. Lunch spot was great. Des was well prepared with Camera and Binoculars and on hand to explain and was a great guide! Very safe driving and comfortable van. Highly recommend this tour to everyone to know Cape Cod and its surroundings from the experts who make you feel you at home. Des hope you had a chance to have the Guinness! Neil and family - NJ Visited July 2011July 2011
Terry and Des are awesome! A fantastic way to see Cape Cod, especially when you're short on time! Terry and Des - owners and guides - are excellent. Des has a wonderful historic knowledge of the area, while Terry gives a "locals" look, provides snacks, and knows all the best washroom stops along the way! We were never rushed, felt appreciated and valued, our interests were taken into consideration - they made it a personal experience. Visited June 2011June 2011
This tour is a 'must do' when you're in the Cape! Everything about this tour, from the initial inquiries to booking to the actual tour itself, was great! Des & Terry go out of their way to personalize the tour to your interests, and are both very knowledgable about the area. What a very special couple they are... they make you feel as if you're visiting good friends who are showing you around their home town. You just can't go wrong when you book a tour with them, you'll learn and see lots, have a few laughs and come away smiling! Oh, and a very important fact on a long tour - they seemingly know the location of every washroom on the island, and make as many stops as required :) Visited June 2011June 2011
A must do if you have never visited Cape Cod before! I would give this tour an A+++ It is a husband and wife team and both of them are exceptionally nice and so well informed of the areas they show you. They even showed us places that we wanted to see that weren't on the tour. The sightseeing van is very comfortable with huge windows that afford you an amazing view of Cape Cod. They make many stops where you can get out of the van and see areas up close. They have snacks and water bottles for you to eat and drink during the tour. I was in Boston for 3 days and this tour was the highlight of my stay in Boston! I would love to go back someday and take one of there other tours that they offer. It was a FABULOUS experience and a very enjoyable day for myself, my husband and 17 year old daughter. We all had a great day :o) I cannot say enough about this tour. They are wonderful tour guides and so nice and kind to everyone! Visited June 2011June 2011
Worth the money and your time to see the Cape in a day. The hosts were very accommodating and informative. We visited spots usually frequented by the locals and were able to avoid traffic using back roads. Although my husband had been to the Cape before and wasn't convinced of the value of this tour, by end of the day he was a convert. He learned and saw several areas of the Cape that were previously unknown. Thanks for a wonderful time!June2011
Des and Terry make you feel like family I've never been much of a fan of organized tours. I can see the sense in them, but I usually prefer to see things in my own way and in my own time. Des and Terry may just have changed my mind for good. From the moment they picked us up from the hotel, they made us feel at home. Of course, they have their set tours to introduce you to the essence of the area, but they made it clear that their primary objective was our enjoyment. No set times during the day, and any reasonable request entertained. True to their word, we were encouraged to take our time at each stop, and Des was more than happy to make an unplanned stop at a country shop at the request of one of the passengers. In addition to the lunch that was included in our tour, there were ample snacks and water made available. We were celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and Des even took some photos with his own camera and sent them on to us. They are damn good too! One suggestion I'd have if you go, take a pair of binoculars. Des will no doubt lend you his, but if your tour is full, it may be a pain waiting your turn to use them. Not sure when we'll be back to Cape Cod, but when we do, we'll be signing up for one of their other tours while we are there. Visited May 2011April 2011
I live in Boston, and my mom came to visit for the weekend. She's visited a few times, so this time she wanted to see more of Massachusetts. She found Cape Cod Scenic Tours online and was really excited. I told her there was no need for us to arrange a tour, as I had been to Cape Cod several times before and every time I would just rent a car and drive myself around. She was insistent that we do the tour, so that it would be much more relaxing. She was right! Not only was it more relaxing, but it was also a lot more interesting. I learned a lot more about the history of Cape Cod, and the way of life for the first settlers. I also learned about ghosts, entities and poltergeists. Des really knows his stuff! Both Terry and Des were eager to make the trip as memorable as possible for us. They are awesome people and I highly recommend taking their tour if you really want to get to know Cape Cod! Des and Terry offer a couple of different Cape Cod tours, as well as trips destinations outside the Cape. You should definitely contact them to get more information.Boston ,MA.Jan 2011
I give this one five clams!! I convinced my husband to head out to Cape Cod on a sunny Saturday morning and we were not disappointed. We fell in love with the place and cannot wait until our next visit. Since it was our first time in the area, we decided to take a full day guided tour of the highlights and it was amazing. The adventure starts the moment you step onto Terry and Des' touring van. Terry and Des are two fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate tour guides; which makes this tour all the more perfect. Our day was jammed packed and started in Barnstable (more historic area) to East Dennis, to the Chatham area to Seashore National Park and Coast Guard Beach for lunch. After that we headed over to the Marconi Station ruins, also saw some historic light houses and then to a fisherman's wharf where some seals came around to play. Then to West Dennis Beach for one the most gorgeous sunsets I have ever seen. Des is an excellent story teller and very knowledgeable on the area's history. He is also an excellent ghost story teller!! Terry is very down to earth and helpful. She also makes delicious turkey sandwiches. If its your first time around Cape Cod. Do try to look into these guys. They are amazing tour guides who just want you to enjoy your time in beautiful Cape Cod. Ottawa ,Canada.Jan 2011
An Excellent Day. My wife and I went on the Provincetown tour as part of our honeymoon. We have never been on a tour as good as this. I must say that Des and Terry were fantastic. They made us feel extremely welcome and were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Des and Terry asked all of us if we were in a rush home and when we said we weren't, they extended the tour by a few hours to take in lots of extra sights. It was a great bonus and helped us to get a real feel for the Cape. On top of providing an entertaining and informative tour, Des and Terry provided a lot of extras. We were given a nice packed lunch, there were drinks and snacks all day and Des took loads of photos which he emailed to us. We were heading to Boston a few days after the tour and Terry, a Bostonian, gave us places to see and restaurant recommendations. I would recommend this tour unreservedly. Northern Ireland.Jan 2011
A MUST for first timers on the Cape.. My wife, son and I were there in early October and were delighted with every aspect of the trip. Terri & Des go out of their way to accomodate everyone on the tour. By the end of the day all on board were friends, and had a greater understanding of the region. When you love what you do, everyone can tell and they definitely do. Hope that shopping tour becomes a reality for you Terri! Thanks again. Ohio.NOV 2010
The best tour... EVER! My husband and I were visiting friends in Boston and had one full day to go enjoy the Cape. We stumbled upon Cape Cod Scenic Tours and are so glad we did! Like so many have said here before, Terry and Des are awesome and become the best friends you never knew you had within 15 minutes of meeting them. Charming, funny, and oh-so-knowledgeable they take you to see everything you'd expect to see on a trip to the Cape but still allow for flexibility and personalization of the tour (as much as they can while still making everyone else on the tour happy). We saw the gorgeous fall foliage typical of this time of year, amazing historical locations, several beaches, seals, lighthouses, and one of the most stunning sunsets I've ever seen (and we were just in Tahiti last month)! On our way home my friends and I were all commenting on what a great day we had and how Des and Terry were born to do what they do! The Cape is a must see location and it was so nice to see sitting in a warm comfy bus enjoying snacks, lunch and hot cocoa along the way instead of trying to navigate a place you've never been to and stress out about getting lost. We hardly wanted to leave after the tour and if we didn't have dinner plans in Boston that night we probably would've asked them to hang out with us. As an added bonus, Des has a professional style Nikon on which he'll offer to take your photos and e-mail them to you within a couple of days... for free! It was SO nice not to have to ask people... "would you mind taking our picture?" over and over all day. No need to ask... Des was always offering and even took some candid shots which turned out to be our favorites. I can't recommend a tour higher. You're guaranteed to have a fabulous time! Los Angeles, CaliforniaNOV 2010
The tour everyone should go on. Terry and Des were the best tour guides I have ever had. They make the tour more like just spending the day with your very best friends. I would give them a 10 plus rating. Everyone should go on their tours if you want to have a great time, great lunch (made by Des, so he says) and the freedom to stop places for pictures as if you were in your own car. THEY ARE THE BEST, THANKS TO TERRY AND DES from Mike and Joanne in St Louis Mo....we will be back!NOV 2010
The ONLY way to see it all is with Cape Cod Scenic Tours! My friend and I visited in late October. The off-season afforded us even more tour stops with Terry and Des. We had a great time with the two most fun and knowledgeable tour guides ever. They provided both historical background and current status of so many beautiful beaches, lighthouses, towns, and landmarks. Of note were the off-water (inland) homes and buildings of former seafarers, nation-builders, and loyalists about which we would never have known without the CCST "vitality van." We were a mix of all ages and backgrounds who thoroughly enjoyed our day and time with Terry and Des. Thanks for a great experience, the wonderful, scenic lunch, and sharing the memorable pictures! Midwestern Friends P.S. Des confirmed what I've previously read about Otis and the Revolution; tour brought it to life... Dayton, OhioNOV 2010
My mother and I LOVED our experience with Des and Terry. We took our tour in August and the tour was an enjoyable way to experience The Cape, which is magical. Des and Terry did a wonderful job accomodating everyone on the tour and they knew just the sites to see. I would recommend this tour to anyone, especially if you don't have a lot of time. Thanks again to Des and Terry for a day of memories that my mother and I will never forget! Blissfield, Michigan.NOV 2010
Awesome Tour!!!! We had a great time on the tour and our visit wouldn't have been complete without it :) Des and Terry were awesome! they are very knowledgable about the area and they took care of everyone's interests and comfort. New York City, New YorkOCT 2010
Des and Terry are just about the best tour guides we have ever met. They are not only informative, but very easy to talk to. They are pleasant, sociable and sincerely want you to enjoy your experience in Cape Cod. After reading other reviews on their tours before booking them, we knew they had a high standard to live up to. They certainly exceeded that standard. They will show you scenic places and educate you on the rich history of the area, take time for photographs and answer any questions you have. We learned and saw so much on the tour, places we knew we would never learn about if we were traveling on our own without experienced tour guides. This is definately a must do on your trip to the Cape. Brookfield, OhioOctober 2010

FANTASTIC TOUR . I went on the Seashore, Lighthouse Tour and loved every minute of it!!! Terry and Des are a lot of fun to be with and made the tour very interesting. I enjoyed hearing Des tell about the history of the area and having the freedom to take as many pictures as we wanted. We had a full day of sightseeing and learning about things that otherwise I would have never known. Des was great about answering my questions and he even used his camera to take pictures of me when the battery ran down on my camera . That is real service!! This is by far one of the best tours I have ever been on and it's a "must-do" when you visit the Cape!!!! Peggy from Little Rock, ArkansasSept 2010
My husband and I are experienced travelers and have experienced our fair share of good and bad tours and tour guides. Cape Cod Senic Tours is an exceptional small scale company dedicated to making the tour experience educational, interesting and downright fun. Desi and Terry know the Cape well--they provide an insightful tour that captures the essence of the Cape, past and present. They are professional and personable. We asked them to develop a private tour for us from Chatham to Provincetown along 6A and throughout the National Seashore. Desi and Terry did a remarkable job keeping us engaged for more than five hours with enlighted banter and a wonderful picnic lunch.Washington DC, District of ColumbiaSept 2010
We had the best time ever on the Seashore/Seal/Lighthouse tour recently! Terri and Des were the most knowledgeable, and at the same time, humorous guides. It was such a relaxing day and the lunch that Terri prepared was delicious. It didn't hurt that the view was spectacular! The stop at the pier at Chatham was memorable. We actually had the opportunity to purchase and eat some yummy, fresh fried clams while we watched the fisherman unload their boats. And, watching the seals at the same time was just the frosting on the cake. I hope Terri comes through with the Sip and Shop tour..... it would be a fun excursion with Terri. And they had so many recommendations for places to eat around the area. All you had to do was ask! You couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a gorgeous September day. We recommend it HIGHLY!!!! Jeannie and Charlie from DelawareSept 2010
If you have never been to Cape Cod, take this tour. Des and Terri know anything and everything about the Cape, the people and history. It's an all day thing with beautiful scenery and great guides. Plus they fix a great lunch too.Cave Creek, ArizonaSept 2010
My sister and I had the pleasure of taking the Seashore, Seal and Lighthouse tour on September 13th. Because we were new to the Cape we wanted a full day tour that offered a relaxed, flexible itinerary. This tour offered that and so much more. Des and Terry went out of their way to make sure that all on the tour had the opportunity to see everything they wanted to see and did it with grace and good humour. A provided picnic lunch was delicious and made to order and was made all the more enjoyable by its lovely beach setting. I would gladly take this tour again and would not hesitate to recommend it to any friend heading to the Cape. Thanks Des and Terry; we hope to see you again soon!.Ottawa, CanadaSept 2010
We took the Cape Cod tour on Labor Day. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the tour was phenomenal. Terri and Des were the greatest guides...so accomodating. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone. You will not be sorry! Hollidaysburg, PA.Sept 2010
Terry and Desi were great tour guides. We were never rushed and encouraged to take as many pictures as we wanted. Great picnic lunch on the beach. Desi knows his stuff when in comes to the history of the Cape and he makes it interesting in the telling! Can't wait to go back next year and take another tour with them. Thanks Desi and Terry. If you think you know Cape Cod, let me just tell you ...have a guided tour with Des and Terri from the "Cape Cod Scenic Tours" and you'll be amazed at what you did not know!!...all done in the comfort of a beautiful/comfortable new touring van allowing for panoramic viewing/air conditioning. They took us everywhere, stopped everywhere or anywhere any of their guest wished, answered any questions we had all the while adding humor which, in turn generated group participation and sharing. They made certain everyone was comfortable...called everyone by their first name engaged in conversation as if they had known them their whole life...They were so accommodating... and no one ever had to ask for a bathroom...they had everything timed perfectly...and we were never rushed for anything, as Des reminded us he never wears a watch while on tour! We were provided with snacks galore and a fabulous boxed picnic lunch...plenty of bottled cold water to drink. By the time we left each other we felt we had made new friends! We are already thinking about our next touring excursion with them (Terri has a new tour up her sleeve...stay tuned) ...we all had such a nice, pleasurable, relaxing and fun experience!! You've got to try it...you won't regret it!!!! S. L, Peabody, MASept 2010
Best tour we have taken anywhere. Our entire family took a tour with Des and Terry at the end of August and we are still talking about what a fantastic time we had! Honestly, it was like spending the day with old friends and we were disappointed when it was over. Des and Terry changed up the tour based on what we had already seen on our vacation and what we were all interested in. They were able to answer our questions and they made every town and stop on the tour extremely interesting. The lunch Terry provided was fantastic! Our whole family raved about it. The entire day was like hanging out with a bunch of friends who were showing you their hometown! Terry mentioned that she may start a shopping tour at some point. We hope she does and she can count us in! We have been a lot of places and we love taking tours of the places we go to so we can learn as much as we can about the places we see. Out of all the tours we have taken, this by far has been the best!!! Bergen County NJ.September 2010

" I've spent 6 summers on the Cape, but doing this tour is the best day I've ever had there! " I brought my new husband to the Cape with me this summer and while I have had 6 summers out there, I thought we would give this a try. I truly struggled with whether we would enjoy since I have spent so much time there and wasn't sure if I would get anything new out of it... but what a great day! I can honestly say that not only was it well worth the money but incredibly enjoyable, beautiful and interesting. I saw places I had never been to or even knew of. Terry and Des are 'one-of-a-kind' and treat you like family. They will take you wherever you want, including adding things on to the tour just to make it more memorable. My husband and I were celebrating our 1st anniversary and Des went out of his way to take the most beautiful pictures of us overlooking the ocean just for us to have as a keepsake. Do this tour and you will never regret it. Madison, WisconsinAug 2010
"Wicked Awesome Tour" We had a wonderful time on our scenic tour on August 3rd, 2010. We met Des & Terry and spending the day with them was like visiting old friends. They showed us lighthouses, beaches, windmills, etc...but what they really showed us was good old hospitality!! The tour was filled with pleasant conversation, informative stories and a great sandwich! Dez & Terry were so great, that they even used their camera to take pictures of us and then e-mail them. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see everything that Cape Cod has to offer! It's like having your own private tour with Uncle Dez & Aunt Terry!. Old Bridge, New JerseyAug 2010
"Best Day Of Our Vacation". There is nothing more that we can add to what the other reviews have said. I would just be repeating the same sentiments as all the rest. It was our first visit to the Cape and saw it , as we had pictured it, through Des and Terry's eyes. They went way beyond our expectations. We made new friends and had wonderful stories to tell our friends in Ohio when we got back. Thank you for all the history, the helpful suggestions and especially the Hot Chocolate Sparrow . Mentor, OhioAug 2010
Fantabulous !!!!! What a wonderful find! My husband and I were very delighted with our experience. We would not have seen so much on our own. Des and Terry are wonderful and truly know the history of the area. On our trip we found an old school house converted into an ice cream parlor, that was a new found treasure to even Des and Terry. Hopefully it will be added to future tours. Fabulous! We would HIGHLY recommend this tour. Danielson,ConnecticutAug 2010
Wonderful Tour Not To Be Missed ! This was our first time in Cape Cod so we wanted to get the lay of the land and found this fantastic husband and wife tour company. Des and Terry were fabulous, such a pleasure to be with. They picked us up at our B&B in Dennis Port at 9 am. As soon as we met them I knew we had made a great choice. They were so friendly. We picked up another couple and off we went. While we were on the road they would explain so many things about the area, and our 11 year old son had a great time discussing history with them. They were funny and informative and made the whole tour a wonderful experience. They had drinks and snacks which was great. Also, because we were not in a rush they took us to see places that weren't even on the itinerary. We had such a great time we didn't want the tour to end. When we said our goodbyes it was like saying goodbye to old friends. I highly recommend this tour company. We will always remember them and would definitely go on another tour when we go back. Thank you Terry and Des! You are awesome!. New Jersey.July 2010
DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR Des and Terry are so passionate about what they do and the area they live in. It felt like we were with good friends and had such a great day. The tour was really informative and they made sure that each of us got to see what we wanted to see! We never would have found all of the wonderful sites or learned so much doing this on our own. This tour is amazing - and their company made it even more memorable... we can't wait till the next one!!! Barb,Buffalo,NYJuly 2010
A really great tour. My wife and I took the Seal and Lighthouse tour on 7/18. It was an all day tour---a great lunch was included. We've been on a lot of tours over the years and have never had guides that were more accommodating. The scenery was spectacular---bring your camera. This tour gets our highest recomendation---don't miss it if you're traveling on the Cape! Jnemeth Wadsworth,OhioJuly 2010
My wife and I have been on many scenic tours of cities up and down the east coast. Every time we visit a new place we find it is the best way to explore the unfamiliar area for the least amount of money and in the least amount of time. During our recent visit to Cape Cod, Ma last week we boarded the Cape Cod Scenic Tour van and enjoyed the tour of the area. We selected the Lighthouse and seal tour as that particular trip seemed to fit our schedule and interests the best. Making the reservation was easy and informative. Terry was a great help in scheduling the pickup and taking lunch orders. We boarded the van promptly at 9am as scheduled and we were off. We were quickly informed that the other group of 3 people wanted to add a couple of things to the tour which would put us off schedule a little. No big deal for us at all. After all it was supposed to be a 6 hour tour, what are a few more minutes plus we also got to see a few more sights. During the trip Terry and Dez were both very friendly and informative. They seemed to cater to our every need and let the group decide how long we stop at different sights and made sure we had enough water to drink and a very large selection of snacks if we got hungry. In the middle to the tour we stopped for lunch at one of the attractions. Terry made a wonderful picnic lunch that was exactly how I hoped it would be. The sandwich was delicious. Throughout the tour Dez and Terry seemed very excited to be given the chance to show all us their cape. It seemed as if we were visiting family and they were showing us where they live and telling us the history more than just an ordinary scenic tour. They were also very interested about where we live and the different things we have to offer. After a few extra sights that Dez had to show us based on the feedback he was getting from the group we ended our tour 2 hours later than anticipated. We got an 8 hour tour for the price of a 6 hour tour. We saw so much. Initially my wife and I had thought that $70 was a little expensive for a scenic tour but 8 hours of gas, a free picnic lunch, and all the knowledge that was given made the $70 well worth every penny. Anyone visiting the Cape should take a day and enjoy this tour. We plan to return to the Cape and experience the P-town tour. Thanks for a great Day!! Endwell,NYJuly 2010
A wonderful relaxing tour. The couple who operates this tour company are passionate about the area they live in. The tour was informative, full of scenic attractions, and they were more than willing to show us what we were most interested in. A lunch was provided and there was no shortage of bottled water and snacks, which was very welcome since we took the tour on a day on which the temperatures reached into the high 90's. We viewed many lighthouses, a windmill, and watched seals frolic waiting for snacks from fishing trawlers that were offloading their day's catch. From Marconi's first transmission site to the views across the Cape from Scargo Tower, this tour was jam-packed with interesting sites, historical tidbits and pleasant conversation. We arrived back at our B&B feeling like good friends had given us a tour. We would not have been able to find all of the attactions from looking at travel guides, or at least not put them all together in an organized fashion so that we could have seen all that we saw in one day. Lindsay,Ontario.Canada.July 2010
Des and Terry are great host and show you places that you would not be able to see by yourself. We saw lighthouses, Seals and beautiful homes that we would not have known about. They are delightful people to spend your day with, In fact by the time your tour is through you feel that you have made new friends that you would love to spend more time with.We will take this tour again when we go back to the Cape.Hopefully next year, We met some wonderful people on our tour and had a great time getting to know each other. We girls from Ky had a great time, and please if you get the chance have a tour with Terry and Des and make memories that will last forever. Ruby Bowling Green, KyJuly 2010
We spent the day with Des and Terry showing us their Cape Cod. They picked three of us up in Hyannis and then added three ladies from a local motel,a great mix from OK to KY. The day was perfect for lighthouse viewing, beach walking, picnicking, visiting and historical commentary. Our group included a 86 year old grandmother, and though we were tired at the end of the tour, the breaks and the snacks were enough to keep us going strong all day. What a joy to spend time with such wonderful guests and hosts! The highest of reccomendations from all of us.June 2010
Best Sightseeing Tour on Cape Cod. We had a great day and had FUN traveling on the Cape. We saw more in 1 day than you can imagine. The Cape Cod Bay was so calm and breathtaking. The view from Scargo Tower was amazing. We got to see many Lighthouses, Chatham Light, Cape Cod Light, Nauset Light and the Three Sisters. Nice picnic lunch on the National Seashore and the driver was great. We have pictures from the most scenic areas of Cape Cod. This tour is a "Must Do".June 2010
The luck of the Irish must have been with me when I accidentally found Cape Cod Scenic Tours. This was the best day of my 4 day mini vaca on the Cape. I was driven around the entire Cape in a very comfortable van by the 2 most delightful people Terry & Des. They took me to the most beautiful beaches, parks and nature sites and shared many historical facts. I never would have been able to see (or find) all these highlights if I were on my own. I was very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and witty personalities. Thank you so much for a wonderful day (and great lunch). Maryanne from Salem, MAJune 2010
From the moment the large white van pulled up to our cottage and Des laid down the step stool and we entered a clean and comfortable van, I had the feeling that we were in for a real treat. Terry, who had called us the evening before to take our lunch order, accompanied us with her husband Des. There are three trip options but Des customized our tour and highlighted each area of the Cape. I learned much about the history, culture and wildlife of the Cape from both of our knowledgeable guides. We stopped frequently to visit ocean views, nature and history centers, and shopping and people watching in Provincetown. Des was always there to lend a helping hand as we disembarked and clambered back into the van. The camaraderie during our delicious outdoor lunch was a highlight of the trip. The five hours passed quickly and we were all sad to see it end and say goodbye to our new friends. This trip is suitable for all ages, with its minimal walking and is a wonderful way to spend a relaxing and interesting vacation day on the Cape. Jean.Beverly MaJune 2010
When you live somewhere all your life you often do not take advantage of what is in your own back yard.I found this true with my recent trip to the Cape.A group mostly residents of Massachusetts decided to take a tour of Cape Cod.Terry and Des offered a fun adventure that covered beaches I had never seen and ones that I have not visited in years all the way down to the dunes of P.Town and one of my personal favorites Race Point. They made the ride enjoyable and easy with fun historical facts and stops placed nicely along the way. This will be a must for any of my out of town guests visiting or for that fact it would be great as a surprise day out for a group of friends down the Cape for a long weekend of relaxing and fun. Thanks to Terry and Des for a great Day.Janet Lee.June 2010
Cape Cod Scenic Tours is simply one of the best I have taken, in this country or anywhere in Europe. It is extensive, intelligentlly and thoroughly researched, comfortable, and delightfully presented in a truly professional manner. You must take this tour! LynnMay 2010
Hi Terry: We have arrived home on May 31 and just wanted to say a big thank you for the awesome tour we have with you and Des. Our very favourite stop was the lunch at Rock Harbor and expecially the VERY HEALTHY Lunch. We all will have fond memories of our tour with you and Des. Best of luck with your new venture. Dear Cindy, It has been a couple months since my husband & I took our dream trip to New England. We met up with you on our 7th day of our 25 day trip. We have talked about our trip so many times since returning to Tucson AZ, and we so much enjoyed our first tour of Cape Cod with you. You suggested we go to Spanky's Clam Shack in Hyannis Harbor and it was great! We thought we would treat you to a meal at Spanky's too. Thank you again for some great memories. Ray & DebbieJuly 2009
Dear Cindy, We had a wonderful time on your Sightseeing Tour, The Seashore, Seal and Lighthouse Tour was great. The historical locations in Dennis and Brewster were so interesting and seeing Provincetown from Scargo Tower was amazing. Thank you so much, and that lunch in Rock Harbor made our day. Chatham Fish Pier and the Seals were a perfect end to the day. L. Perry and Friends My group went on a tour with Betty . I think it was Monday 7/6/09. It was Leslie C. and Jennifer R., and three others. We had a wonderful time with Betty. She was great. We loved hearing the history of the area. We were grateful that our group was the only one on the van. That way if we took too long at a spot, we only inconvenienced ourselves. Thanks again for a wonderful day. I am happy you all had a great time with Betty, Thank you, CindySeptember 2008
Hi Cindy,
Thanks again for the wonderful tour you gave us when we visited Cape Cod in September. We really enjoyed our day with you. I'm finally attaching the photo you asked me to send you that I took of the lighthouse through the rainy windows of your van. I added the other two photos in case you wanted to see them.
Have a great Thanksgiving!

Hi Cindy---Just wanted to thank you for the best tour my husband and I have ever been on. Your knowledge of the area made the difference. We saw so much in the amount of time we had. Cape Cod is so beautiful. I loved the Bay, the windmills, Old Sea Captains Homes, John F. Kennedy Memorial, and my favorite--- the shops. The seals were fun to watch too. I took several pictures. My grandchildren will love those. You also surprised us with a wonderful picnic lunch over looking the bay. That made our day. Thanks for pointing out the T-shirts. Those were a great buy. Buy one get one free was a real deal. They all fit and wash well. Thanks again for making our vacation so memorable. Dolf and Phyllis

Dear Cindy,
It was so nice to hear from you. We enjoyed our two days with you and the lovely areas of Cape Cod that you took us to. You made our vacation very special. Your tours were very informative and the locations you took us to were excellent. The lunches you provided us with were delicious too and the places you chose to stop to eat were just great (found out that what those people were doing at one place with the sails is called "kite or sail boarding"). We truly saw so much and it was so nice not to have to drive ourselves. We would have missed a lot had we been on our own - traveling with you we could truly enjoy what was around us and since your knowledge of the area was superb it added so much to our visit. Thank you! Thank you!
The cove we stopped at where they were doing the mussel harvesting was very interesting, I still can't get over how many mussels came out of that little boat. That was the first time I had seen mussel harvesting.
We have and will continue to recommend you and your business to others…
At any rate I'll end my rambling and say again that we thank you for such a fabulous time and wish you much success with your tours going forward.
Fondly,
Joe & Margaret

Hi Cindy,
I am just back home this afternoon ..... after completing lots of chores on the cape!
Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the day and found your tour to be so relaxing and very guest-friendly. It is a great orientation for anyone visiting the cape - even guests who have been many times can find something they never knew existed or might never had the chance to get there.
I think your product is right on target and you should enjoy a very productive summer season. I am sure you will get great feedback. I also think you are in the right place at the right time - lots of non US guests this year will increase the need for a overview of the cape.
I wish I was on cape I could help you out - don't know if you heard me tell Anna I used to be a tour manager in New England for Saga Holidays at UK based tour operator.
As mentioned I have added a little blurb to the email that I send just prior to arrival (esp. for EU guests). I have put your brochure in my Welcome Packet for each guest that is waiting for them in the cottage and I will cut and paste your marketing blurb in my Welcome Book. Wishing you a prosperous 2008 season.

We took the Provincetown Tour. Had a wonderful day. Cindy picked us up at our B&B around 9am. We took the scenic ride along rt 6a. This was perfect. We visited may areas including Scargo Tower in Dennis, Cape Cod Bay in Brewster, The Cape Cod National Seashore in Eastham along with Nauset Lighthouse and CoastGuard Beach. When we arrived in Provincetown we decided to walk along Commercial St. What fun, the shops and galleries were unique. We had a picnic lunch in a favorite location of Cindy's. On the way back we drove through Wellfleet and got to see the fisherman return with the days catch. We also watched locals digging for clams at low tide. Rock Harbor in Orleans was our last stop, perfect timing to watch all of the fishing boats leaving the harbor for an afternnon of fishing on Cape Cod Bay. We had a ball!!

CINDY.We are back in Ireland and settled in to our daily routine once again after touring New England in the fall. - all went well and no problems with travel etc.
I want to thank you most sincerely for the lovely day you gave us in Cape Cod in your wagon and the many places of interest which you took us too. I have great memories of that day out which will always stay with me and the lovely luncheon at the waters edge.
Over the winter months, you should market your little niche into the small hotels and Bed & Breakfasts etc., and next Summer get the rewards. Do incorporate a stop to your friends little restaurant, all adds to being quaint. It is a very unique and personalised service and now a days, that is rare, but is something that alot of people still appreciate and enjoy.
We had a most memorable stay at the Captain Ferris B & B and I have thanked him for his introduction to your tour.
It is a little bit away, but have a wonderful season in 2008
If I ever hear of anyone going to the Cape, I have your card.
Kind regards,
Charlie & Rita
